The receipt and the invoice, where applicable, should be retained as valid documents for the purpose of any warranty claim.

All Foxydry products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided under applicable consumer protection laws. This legal guarantee exists in addition to, and is not affected by, any commercial warranty offered by Cometa S.r.l.

In addition to the Customer’s statutory rights, Cometa S.r.l. may offer a commercial warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship, subject to the conditions set out below. Unless otherwise stated, the motor is covered for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship.

This warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions resulting from misuse, improper use, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, incorrect assembly, incorrect installation, incorrect electrical connection, installation not in accordance with product specifications, use of unsuitable third-party equipment, or installation by untrained or non-qualified personnel. This warranty also does not cover damage caused after delivery by external events or third parties. These exclusions do not affect the Customer’s statutory rights in the event of a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.

This warranty does not cover defects or malfunctions resulting from:
– incorrect assembly of the product by the Customer;
– incorrect installation of the product by the Customer or by third parties;
– incorrect electrical connections;
– alteration of electrical or mechanical parts;
– installation not in accordance with product specifications;
– use of third-party equipment not suitable for the product;
– installation by untrained or non-qualified personnel;
– damage caused by improper handling after delivery.

Returns will not be accepted without prior written authorization from Cometa S.r.l.

If a product proves to be defective during the applicable warranty period, Cometa S.r.l. will, at its discretion and in accordance with applicable law, repair or replace the defective product. Where the defect is covered by the legal guarantee or by an applicable commercial warranty, repair or replacement will be carried out without charge to the Customer, including any necessary costs for labour, materials, and shipping, where required by law.

Where necessary for inspection, repair, or replacement, Cometa S.r.l. may ask the Customer to carefully pack and send the product, together with a copy of the relevant receipt or invoice, to the following address:

Products returned in poor, damaged, or inadequate packaging may not be accepted. If, after inspection, the reported issue is found not to be covered by the legal guarantee or by the applicable commercial warranty, Cometa S.r.l. reserves the right to charge the Customer for any inspection, handling, repair, and/or return shipping costs.
